Couldn’t have asked for anything better! Beach & dock were best in the area. House has modern accommodations with a Belizian feel. Beds are comfortable, rooms are spacious, kitchen has all the necessities. I would definitely go back!

Surpassed our expectations
Everything about our stay surpassed our expectations. Everyone at the property was friendly and made sure our time there was enjoyable We have new friends at Villa Rising SunI highly recommend

Beautiful inside and out!
Beautiful inside and out! Perfect place to lounge on the beach, listen to music at the tiki bar, and swim off the dock. Hosts were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, anticipating our needs before we even knew we had them. They will regularly pop by to check in on you, but they never feel intrusive. They are also very responsive to requests. And they even bought some food items to start us out. Hosts also act as concierge; they will help you set up tours and excursions. When booking snorkeling and fishing adventures through them, they will pick you up right at the dock. Another bonus, the hosts can book a private chef to come to the house to cook dinners. She is an excellent cook and her prices are very reasonable.

magnificent house with a delightful layout
Our entire family had a wonderful stay at Villa Rising Sun. It is a magnificent house with a delightful layout right on the beach and a wonderful caring staff. Mark Sabrina and Dean were very attentive and very caring host. We all give it a 10 out of 10. We strongly recommend Villa Rising Sun and will most certainly return again.

Thank you, Mark & Sabrina, for the beautiful accommodations & thinking of every detail of amenities! Your hospitality was outstanding! The digital photos on the counter & QR code to local recommendations and activates were a fantastic touch. Everything was amazing - from Jose's detail for cleaning the beach and getting us fresh coconuts, to the refresh from the cleaning staff. We were impressed with the detail they did during our stay. Thank you Jeanne for the delectable baked goods. (Your baking is some of Brian's favorites!) Addicting, literally warm and fresh out of the oven. And thank you Dean ~ for the tips, area knowledge, help with reservations, the drinks that made Jackie want to have more and our fun at the Play bar when you and Lucas were bartending. Your mixology knowledge gives you the ability to create artisanal drinks with depth, layers, and are masterful, leaving us with an appreciation for your many talents. (We recommend everyone find the Renegade Spirits, Hopkins, Belize, even if you can't stay at Villa Rising Sun!) The drinks were as good as your company in general. (Loved that we were able to have a lunch together as well!) We can't wait to come back and stay with you again! We couldn't have been happier with our stay at Villa Rising Sun!

Wonderful beachfront stay
We just got home from 8 wonderful days at Villa Rising Sun. Such outstanding hospitality! The house is very comfortable and more than enough room for just 2 of us. Comfy beds & a well equipped kitchen. You step out right onto the beach and just a few steps from the water. With a private beach bar and dock that goes out into the ocean, it feels very personal and private. Watching the fish swim at night off the end of the dock was a real treat. We were offered personal service every step of the way. We were unfortunate to have a day delay in our arrival because of canceled flights and they arranged to have dinner waiting for us since we arrived late in the evening. They arranged for several outstanding day adventures (Get To Know Belize Adventures...highly recommend). It felt like we were staying with friends! Hopkins is a fun small village with some of the friendliest people I've seen anywhere. We hope to return.

Perfect home set on the perfect beach
Perfect home set on the perfect beach. Hosts were super helpful and there when you needed them, otherwise it was very private. The private beach bar is key for hanging out (why would you ever want to be inside in Belize?) and the dedicated dock is wonderful for morning coffee and taking in the beautiful Caribbean. Beds were comfortable and the house has everything you need. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here, 10 stars! Thank you to Dean, Mark, Sabrina and the Get To Know Belize Crew, we had a memorable and fantastic time!!!

The team at Villa Rising Sun is amazing—so welcoming and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The private beach and bar were absolute highlights and made the experience even more special. We would absolutely recommend this property.
